Why Choose Us

More Than a Realtor
- A Trusted Advocate for Seniors

  • 25+ years in elder care and rehab

  • Licensed Florida Realtor offering fiduciary representation in most cases

  • Deep knowledge of senior living and the challenges in Tampa Bay

  • Supportive, pressure-free approach

  • Real guidance. Real heart.

When this senior turned 90, he had a delay in renewing his drivers license, and couldn’t drive (he later passed the test!). THAT was the time he KNEW it was time to move.

He had toured Independent Living facilities almost two years prior and already had a plan, so when a place came up- he said yes.

Working with family, once he was settled, we sold his condo in the 55+ community we’d moved him into back in 2017.

Aging in place CAN be an option.  This is a far bigger decision than adding a handrail or a raise on the toilet.

Sometimes exploring options has been left too late and action is needed urgently. This is incredibly common after a medical setback, where rehab is ending and the new normal begins.

Testimonials

“Margaret helped us move our mom with compassion and clarity. She knew how to talk to her, how to talk to us, and how to keep things moving gently but efficiently.”

 – Diane B, Clearwater

Margaret Jackson was recommended to me by a friend and neighbor. After contacting her she arranged to come over the next day. [week] When she got to my home I was very pleased that she was very professional and knowledgeable of our area. She had all her information gathered in such a short period of time. It was easier for me to set the price that I wanted after reviewing that data. Listed it the following day. [week] We got very good response and signed a contract in four days. Margaret continued to virtually handle the rest of the sale guiding me along. Always prompt, helpful and responsive to all of my questions. I highly recommend her.

Where to even begin. Margaret Jackson is one of the best realtors I've ever worked with. She was referred to me by a mutual friend and I will be forever grateful. COVID started the ball rolling. I lived in Florida alone, my family lived in states north. What was happening with people created a need to be nearer to them. I decided to sell my villa and move close to them after my daughter and son in law said they would build a bedroom for me over their garage in Maine. I put my relationship with Margaret to the challenge when I first listed my home for sale because just prior to listing on the MLS, I withdrew. Bless her heart, after telling her it was too quick of a decision on my part and I had to think on it, she understood. Not many realtors would do that without giving you a hard time and charge you for the paperwork they had done to that point. Not Margaret. She was totally supportive and understood. She gave me the time to process what the best case scenario was for me. When I finally made the decision to sell several months later, she was right there to help with everything and anything. She made it smooth sailing - providing me with a wonderful photographer to showcase my place, her fantastic write up on the MLS, the way she enabled me to be in control of the showings; all yielding me $7,000 more than my asking price! I was thrilled. I am now back living in Maine with my daughter and grandchildren while looking for an apartment to rent. But who's rushing? Not I.
